Returns & Refund Policy

At Monaro Arms, we are committed to ensuring your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If a product is faulty, unsafe, not of acceptable quality, unfit for purpose, or does not match its description, you are entitled to a remedy, such as a repair, replacement, or refund.

Returns

To initiate a return, the product must be accompanied by the original receipt or tax invoice and a completed Return Goods Authorization (RGA) form. To request an RGA form, please contact us at monaroarms@gmail.com.

Non-Returnable/Non-Refundable Items

  • Gift cards
  • Ammunition
  • Gun powder
  • Primers
  • Firearms (of any kind)

Certain items, such as gift cards, ammunition, gun powder, primers, and firearms, cannot be returned due to safety and regulatory restrictions, except when these items are faulty or fail to meet consumer guarantees.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email of the outcome. If approved, refunds will be processed promptly to your original payment method, typically within three business days.

Cancellation of Custom Orders

Custom orders are specifically procured or manufactured based on individual customer requests and are not part of our regular stock. For this reason, cancellation of a custom order after the product has been ordered or received is not eligible for a refund, except as required under ACL.

Under ACL, you are entitled to a refund or replacement only if the custom-ordered product is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose. Change-of-mind cancellations or preferences for alternate products do not qualify for a refund.

Shipping Costs

If the return is due to a fault or breach of consumer guarantees, Monaro Arms will cover the cost of return shipping. For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the return shipping costs.

Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. For exchanges, contact us at monaroarms@gmail.com with your RGA form, and send your item to:

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
